NYC is where I learned the most, Africa has been the most memorable, but Oahu has always felt like home. After a day of surfing on the North Shore, hiking up waterfalls, and eating all the poke I could handle, I went to visit Lanikai Beach with my wife. While watching the Lanikai Canoe Club race their 6-man outriggers against one of the most beautiful backdrops I’d ever seen, we knew we had to live here. 3 years later we were fortunate enough to call Lanikai home and I’ve spent the last two years learning to race outriggers in that beautiful water below. #Mapiful reached out and said to create a map of the most important place in the world to me.
